Your Pioneer setup guide

Follow these steps to get connected, stay organized, and make the most of the tools available through your Pioneer membership.

Create Your Online Banking Account

  • Enroll in Online Banking if you haven't already.
  • Open the Pioneer website or mobile app.
  • Select Login, then choose Enroll.
  • Enter your member number or SSN
  • Follow the prompts to create your login.

Set Up Mobile Banking

  • Download the Pioneer Appalachia FCU mobile app.
  • Log in using your online banking credentials.
  • Personalize your profile and settings.

Opt In for e-Statements

  • In online banking or the mobile app, open e-Statements.
  • Confirm your contact details and accept the terms.
  • Get notified electronically each month and avoid paper statement fees.

Link External Accounts

  • In the app tap the menu icon (☰).
  • Select Accounts then Link External Accounts.
  • Follow the prompts to connect other bank accounts for easier transfers and management.

Activate Your Debit or Credit Card

  • Call the activation number included with your card.
  • Set your PIN during activation.
  • If no activation number is listed, tap the menu icon (☰), select support, and get assistance there. 
  • If you have a Pioneer Perks card, register it at uchooserewards.com to begin earning points.

Set Up Direct Deposit

  • Complete the direct deposit form from Pioneer, which is found at the top of this page. 
  • Complete it with your account information and provide it to your employer.
  • Confirm the first deposit posts successfully.

Enroll in Bill Pay

  • Go to Payments or Bill Pay in online banking.
  • Select Pay a Bill and choose Enroll.
  • Add your payees and schedule payments.
  • Bill Pay is available through your Pioneer checking account.

Use Budgeting & Credit Tracking Tools

  • Open the Spending Habits area in the app.
  • Create budgets and set spending limits.
  • Monitor your credit score and insights with SavvyMoney.
  • Track purchases, cash flow, and your overall financial picture in one place.
